Parade of Homes : Details

Parade Dates: August 1 – 9, 2009
Cost Per Entry: $1,000 per home
Entry Deadline: All entries must be received by 12 noon on July 17th, 2009.

Signage & Navigation of Parade

Parade maps will be available online, in print and at each participant’s parade home. Two (2) signs per entry designating it as a Houston’s Best Parade Home will be provided. An online resource library will be available to participants with various marketing items for cross promotional use.

Judging and Awards

The winners will be broken down by price points in the following areas:

• Best Kitchen
• Best Living Room
• Best Outdoor Area
• Best Floorplan
• Best Elevation
• Best Product Design
• Best Master Suite
• Best Entry
• Best Specialty Room

Consumers will be asked to give numeric scores for each of these features. Each category will be independent of the others. Ballot boxes will be provided for each parade home. Entrants must return all ballot boxes to the GHBA.
